Starting with our logo, our new double B’s represent power, love, and unity. We wanted a strong, bold emblematic design that encapsulated the support we have for each other and the support we have for you.
Our 2019 collection kicks off with a touch of love, grit, and grace. Intentionally designed for all of the women out there blazing a path for herself, you can expect ready to wear fashion staples for women who are fearless in style as well as spirit. We want you to feel confident and empowered in everything you wear and everything you do. It’s our personal mission to produce styles that give you that feeling. ]]>We did it—happy 2019! Here at Birdiebee HQ, we’re all about the new. So, as the year kicks off, we thought we’d start fresh wardrobe-wise all new closet resolutions. Whether your favorite well-worn sweats are overdue for an upgrade, or this year, you’re calling in more color; we’ve mapped out five outfitting goals for looking (and feeling) your best in 2019. (Pro tip: You don’t need to commit to all of these—pick one or two that suit YOUR style, and you’ll be golden.)
There’s no better time than the present to step outside of your comfort zone. This year, if a sleek and chic catsuit or unexpected silhouette is calling your name, rock it fearlessly—or at least try it on! Embrace a bright and bold color, and if flats are your daily outfit MO, up the ante (but not too high) with a pair of fierce heels. Welcome some edge to your wardrobe in 2019, this is YOUR year.
We get it, the allure of those lived-in, cozy sweats you’ve had since college is hard to turn down. But unless you’re staying home, why not take a little extra time to pull together a look that makes you feel great?
Not feeling confident today? Fake it with a killer top that reminds you of your beauty. Been a rough week? That sweater you always get complimented on can only make things better. Rather just stay in bed? Your power-pullover is calling. Remember, getting dressed is about feeling good (with a side effect of looking great), and showing off your unique personality to the world.
Instead of buying more clothes you’ll never wear (you always have something to wear!), invest in a few staple styles you absolutely love like the perfect pair of leggings and a perfectly fitting, made-for-you pullover. Choose silhouettes that work for your body that can be worn from the gym to the street.
Mix and match what’s already in your dresser with fresh styles that take you from day to night to create entirely new looks.
With self-care season officially underway, now’s the time to go all in on your workout attire. Although you don’t necessarily need great workout clothes to have a great workout, we’ve found from experience that it certainly helps.
For an effortlessly cool look that works Monday through Friday and well into the weekend, we love a bold statement sweater paired with a fun party skirt (fringe, leather, or sequins encouraged!). It's all about that casual/fancy mix. Here, we’ve teamed our BEE-YOU-TIFUL Fashion Fit Pullover with a ruffled leather mini.
Equal parts fierce and fashionable, a chic pullover fleece plus jeans is the perfect combination of comfort, cozy, and pulled together. It’s our go-to formula for running errands, lunch dates with the girls, and lounging around the house in style. Here, we’ve paired up our best-selling Tie Front top with dark distressed denim.
Inspired by our boss babe CEO and lead designer, Ursula Braeger, a little bit of leather adds a certain edge to any outfit—not to mention, it makes you feel like a total bada$$. Here, we’ve teamed a bold graphic tank with leather pants, added a pop of color with a cool and contrasting coat, and finished the look with a stylish pair of sneakers.
Not only are layers the absolute best way to keep warm this winter, they’re also the perfect way to take your look from day to night, or from the street to the gym. Here, our founder and style muse, Brie Bella, paired her Birdiebee Leggings with a loose fitting logo tank and trendy trench. No one will know you’re leaving work early to go to the gym. Just don’t forget to pack your sneakers!
This time of year, the Birdiebee office is buzzing with talk of what we’re gifting (and being gifted), this holiday season. While comfy-cozy holiday hoodies, cool new graphic tees, and Bella Cotton intimates, are certainly on our lists, the older (and wiser) we become, the more we want to give, receive, gift, and bee gifted in ways that also make a positive impact. You, too? Here are five of our favorite organizations to give back to this holiday season. Join us. How will you bee giving?

How are you giving back this holiday season? If you don’t have the means to give back financially, it’s just as impactful to give your time and attention.
]]>Over a year ago, The Wildflower AZ had helped organize a beautiful maternity shoot for Brie and our Birdiebee launch party, so it only made sense that our first pop-up would fall into their hands yet again. What we didn't expect was the inspiring story behind the flower shop.
It's no easy feat to own and operate your own business, and these ladies prove that, with just enough passion and commitment, it's far from impossible.
Nicole filled us in on what it's like being running her own business with her daughter:
When your daughter was younger, what did you dream about for her future?Nicole Helle: When she was younger she told me, she wanted to own a flower shop together and I have always envisioned that since! I've always wanted her to succeed in her creativity, of course, and to be proud of what she does, and it's just so beautiful I'm seeing both of our dreams unfold.
What's it like working with your daughter?
I love working with my daughter because I get to see her talent grow and I get to see her creative mind really do a lot of work and I think that's so beautiful to witness first hand.
Working with her is amazing because I know she's doing what she loves and is passionate about! It's also hard to let go of control of course, but I know not many other mother's get to have this experience so seeing her learn to be a boss and grow creatively is truly worth it.
Best memory/moment of working together?
Every day is a blessing honestly. Seeing Selena really "get it" and letting her creative side run free every day is my favorite thing to experience. Memories are made every day with each other and they are all so special to me.
For mothers and their daughters, what advice or tip would you give them for starting their own business?
Don't be afraid! Don't be afraid to take a leap, to ask for advice, to take a risk, to work hard, and to be true to yourself! Hard work truly pays off. As for working together: Take the time to enjoy the fact that you're both doing what you love, together! Listen to each other’s insights and always be ahead of the times with each other! Two heads are better than one!

Mother Teresa said, “I alone can’t change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create ripples.”
“When I hear the word ‘selfless’ she always pops into my head,” said Brie. “Her gentle demeanor, her devotion and beautiful soul has always been so inspiring.”
That’s why today and for the entire month, we’re celebrating our fellow sisters. These are women who have paved the path for us and women who are working hard to create a better future for our daughters, past and present.
“There are so many women that I honor, so many that I think of,” said Nikki. “Not just the women that I share roots with but fearless, brave women that took a stand and paved a road for every women and girl in this world.”
We’re sharing the stories that have inspired us in hopes that they will inspire you as well.

Brie Bella and Mother Teresa’s Voice
“When I think of International Women’s Day, I think of so many women. Women who have used their voices so loudly — whose actions needed no words and whose beliefs touched millions of lives. It’s hard to concentrate on one woman, but there’s a woman who has always stuck out to me, Mother Teresa. Mother Teresa gave her whole life to helping those in need. When I hear the word ‘selfless’ she always pops into my head. Her gentle demeanor, her devotion and beautiful soul has always been so inspiring. I love her quote, ‘I alone can’t change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create ripples.’ Thank you, Mother Teresa, for showing me the sweeter side of mankind.”
Nikki Bella and Eleanor Roosevelt’s Book
“Today I want to honor Eleanor Roosevelt. President Truman called her the ‘First Lady of the World’ because of all her human rights achievements. I recently read her book and I just couldn't put it down. I have always admired her quotes and her history. But I never would have thought how much I could learn from her now. Her international travels and education as a child, how she raised her kids, her vocal support in the civil rights movement, how she helped working women receive better wages … and the list goes on. It made me wish I read her book many years ago but it's never too late to learn. ‘Do one thing every day that scares,’ she said. Eleanor, thank you for these words. Not only has it helped me break barriers in a man's industry, but it has helped me find and use my voice fearlessly.”
